I love the series and cant wait for the next book. Although I will be reluctant to read it because of Chey.

I will say this one was not what I had expected.  I hate what chey is doing behind Dylans back, and I am sure it will all come to blows in a later  book. I understand wanting to protect and make her husband happy but you just don't do it this way.

Pres & Riley......... I felt riley was desperate. Imsure he was only looking out for presley but he just seemed to much.

Presley & Aaron....... I agree with presley not telling aaron about wyatt.  He was in a very bad place in his life when she became pregnant.  When he did figure it out it felt very believable and I am so glad the truth came out, aaron handled it like anyone would have. He was upset she lied,

The ending was beautiful, way too short though. It really needed drawed out a little more.

Overall, excellent read, cant wait for more from Brenda Novak.

Burn by Maya Banks

The 3rd book in the series. This is Ash's story. I liked this book the best. I just love Ash, he's a total sweetheart. I love how he is with Josie. When they talk serious he wants her sitting with him. He's a very touchy, feely guy and I think that is why I liked him so well. He wants to be always touching Josie when he's with her, holding her hand, touching her in some way. 

I enjoyed all 3 stories, but Ash is probably my favorite. 

I loved girls night out, felt like you were right there with the girls, and the shoes, lol. ! 

Fever by Maya Banks

The second book in the series was great. This is Jace's story.

I truly loved Jace. He was amazing to Bethany. Bethany was homeless when Jace met her. He had a threesome with her and Ash. Jace  and Ash are known for their threesomes. But Bethany was different, Jace wanted her from the minute he saw her to himself. I truly hated Jack. He was a real pain in the rump.  The story was great, loved it. 

Rush by Maya Banks

I LOVED the series !  The series is about 3 Best Friends, Gabe, Jace, Ash and their women. All 3 men are successful, wealthy and dominant. They fall hard for their women.

Rush is Gabe's story. Gabe's has always had eyes for his best friend Jace's younger sister Mia. Mia has had eyes for Gabe for just as long. Gabe falls hard for Mia. 

I enjoyed the story but I must say I truly hate what Gabe did to Mia in Paris. I truly hated Gabe for it. I am still not happy with Gabe, it should have never happened and he should have never let it go that far. He knows that immediately, but no amount of crawling would have made me rethink that. He was a coward when he did not immediately tell Jace the truth and let her walk. In the end the story was great, I really enjoyed it. 

The Perfect Hope ( Inn BoonsBoro #3) by Nora Roberts

  LOVE IT !!!!  This trilogy was wonderful ! I loved everything from Becket and Clares story, Owen & Averys story, Lizzys story, and now Ryder.
The Inn is complete and BEAUTIFUL ! Hope is the Innkeeper and does a wonderful job with the inn.
Lizzys story get wrapped up. I was completely drawn to Lizzys story.! I love how it ended.
The Brothers are now building Averys new Restaurant and their Mothers fitneess center behind the inn.


I am sad this series is over.! This was the first series I have read of Nora's. I will be looking into her other books....

The Last Boyfriend ( Inn BoonsBoro #2 ) by Nora Roberts

Another Great Read !!! Nora has really pulled me in... I enjoyed Owen's story very much.... I must say I think I am more interested in the history and renovation of the inn. I love the history and hearing what the rooms look like. I love Lizzy and hearing about her....
This was a very sweet romance between Owen and Avery, whove had a little romance going on  since childhood. Averys mother shows up and things get a little tangled.... I really enjoyed this series.!

The Next Always ( Inn BoonsBoro #1) by Nora Roberts

This is the first Nora Roberts Book I have ever read and I will definatly be reading all of this series. I loved it. I loved the characters.... Beckett, his borhters Riley and Owen. Clare and her 3 Boys.......
I loved the history of the Inn, the renovation of the Inn... and Lizzy !

Beckett and his brothers are renovating the Inn. Beckett has always had his eye on Clare, the girl hes wanted to kiss since he was a teenager. Clares husband a solider was killed while Clare was pregnant with son #3. She moved back to her hometown to be close to family and open her own Bookstore. 

When Lightning Strikes (Whiskey Creek #1) by Brenda Novak

I wasnt pulled into this book as much as I was hoping at FIRST .... but I loved it.... and have read every book in the Series ! WONDERFUL SERIES !!!!

Gail, started a PR business in Los Angeles with many A-list Clients  including Simon O'Neal. He's a successful, gorgous actor in LA..  Hes also a alcoholic and womanizeer. He's had numerous self -destructive acts lately and Gail decided to drop him as a client. he goes to another firm and takes most of her clients. Her business is in big trouble, they make a deal  to save his reputation and her buisness, and gain visitation of his son. 

When Snow Falls ( Whiskey Creek #2) by Brenda Novak

This is Cheyennes story. Cheyenne and her sister Presley have lived a horrible childhood. Their Mother Anita moved alot, was a alcoholic, prostitute and con artist.
They finally settled in Whiskey Creek after Anita was diagnosed with Cancer.
Cheyenne meets Dylan, a "bad boy" from the wrong side of the tracks.  Dylan has had a rough life as well, his mother died when he was a teen. His dad stabbed a man and is in prison. Dylan has stepped up and taken care of his brothers.
Cheyennes mother is in the last stages of Cancer, her friends just left on a 2 week Cruise, She's a 31 year old virgin, and she been in love with Joe (Gail's Brother) since she was 14.
There is alot of questions about Cheyennes child hood, she remembers a blond woman and when she asks her mother she dismisses Cheyenne's questions as she was making up a dream life.
Presley got into some trouble, I shed some tears for Presley, she had so many secrets she was keeping.
This was a great book and really makes you think... I felt so bad for Cheyenne.  This was a Heartbreaking, Heartwarming and overal wonderful read.!

When Summer Comes (Whiskey Creek #3) by Brenda Novak

I loved Everything about Callie's Story.! 
There was alot going on in this book.... Callie hiding she was sick, A drifter showing up injured after a dog attack, Baxter, and much more....
I shed several tears during this book. It broke my heart reading about Callie being so sick, and keeping it a secret from her closest friends. Levi, the drifter shows up one evening bleeding after a horrible dog attack.... Callie ends up trading room and board for labor around the house to get it ready to sell.  Baxter finally tells Callie his secret.  I loved this book !

Home to Whiskey Creek (Whiskey Creek #4) by Brenda Novak.

I have read the series in about a week.... took notes and now I am reviewing the books for you.!



Adelaide just returned to her home town to help her aging Grandmother in the family restaurant "Just Like Moms". Years ago when she was barely 16, she was brutally gang raped by several jocks from the Baseball team in the local mine.. Several of those boys are now grown men with families. upon her return, she is kidnapped and threatened to keep her mouth shut about the incident at the Graduation Party at the mine. She has no intentions of saying anything and only wants to help her Grandmother. Things got that much more complicated when she got involved with Noah.

Baxter had a big part in this book as well.... Noah and Baxter are Best Friends, but Baxter has secrets.... the rest of the group has already  figured it out but Noah doesn't see it until it smacks him right in the face. I really hope Baxter will get his own book very soon...

This was a great story, I loved the suspense !!!!  I was constantly trying to figure out who kidnapped her. There were alot of twists and turns...I could put the book down.!

Take Me Home for Christmas (Whiskey Creek #5) by Brenda Novak

There are SPOILERS in this review.

 Take Me Home for Christmas is the 5th book in the Whiskey Creek Series by Brenda Novak. I enjoyed Every book in this series !

Sophia has been in the other books briefly.... she usually only showed up during coffee at the local coffee shop. Which was a group of friends (main Characters in the books) that meet at the coffee shop every Friday morning.

Sophia  is Beautiful, Rich and Married to the most successful man in Whiskey Creek. Unfortunately her husband is abusive, and she is recovering from a drinking problem. Skip, Her Husband plans a Vacation for her and their daughter on the yacht to "start over". Skip goes missing one morning and Sophia's world is flipped up side down. She learns Secrets about her husband and his business that made life very hard for Sophia and her Daughter Alexi.

Wow, This really pulled at the heart strings. I felt so horrible for both Alexi and Sophia. They lost everything and the people of Whiskey Creek were horrible !! After reading the first 4 books I really feel in love with ALL the people in Whiskey Creek... I lost alot of respect for those people in this book. What they did to Sophia and her innocent daughter was horrible.
I really hated the relationship between Ted and Eve.

I cannot wait for the 6th book in the series to be released.!!!!

Oklahoma Nights

I finished the 2nd book in the series a few weeks ago, Oklahoma Nights Romance, by Cat Johnson. I loved both books, and cannot wait till the 3rd is released in March 2014.

I love to read, and have a lot of favorite actors, and books. I'll blog more about the books I am reading and books I have read. I love reading series books, but hate it when I find a good series and the last book is not released yet, I usually put those on my To Read list until the last book is out.

A few of my fav authors are; Megan Hart, Cat Johnson, Linda Leal Miller, Debbie Macomber, Lora Leigh,Sylvia Day, Olivia Cunning,Nicholas Sparks..... And many more.

 

I will be adding a review on all 3 of these books after I read the 3rd book.!

 

Inn Boonsboro by Nora Roberts

I just finished reading The Trilogy of Inn Boonsboro... I loved it ! 
"The Next Always" is Beckett and Clare's Story.
"The Last Boyfriend" is Owen and Avery's Story.
"The Perfect Hope" is Ryder and Hope's Story.

I was totally intrigued by the ghost and could not put down the books.... I honestly wanted to know more about Lizzy. I dont honestly have a favorite love story between the brothers, they were all great.! I Love the Inn, and the description of the Inn was amazing in the first book. I liked Beckett and Owen from the very begining. They were both complete Gentlemen. Ryder was a total different story, I wanted to knock him upside the head. LOL ! He finally came around and I started to like him alot !  I will definatly be reading these again.! 
I won't post any spoilers.!

I've never read any of Nora's Books before. I heard alot about her and just didnt find any of the descriptions to my taste until these books.!
